AEE – Institute for Sustainable Technologies (AEE INTEC) was founded in 1988 and is today one of the leading European institutes for applied research in the field of renewable energy and resource efficiency. R&D projects in the three target group areas “Buildings”, “Cities & Networks” and “Industrial Systems” range from basic research to the implementation of demonstration plants. In the project, expertise in modeling, simulation and data driven evaluation and optimization is interlaced with more than ten years of in-depth research with large-scale solar thermal plants.

SOLID Solar Energy Systems has more than 25 years experience in planning, building, delivering, assembling and operating more than 300 large-scale solar plants around the world, providing hot water, room heating, industrial process heat and district heating for towns and villages. The project sizes today are typically in a range from 1 MWthermal up to several MWthermal nominal capacity.
